When I sneeze, it is almost ALWAYS just one sneeze and I am done. I have known people that sneeze twice almost every time, and a few that usually sneeze 3 times on average. I used to think that the one-and-done sneezers were the majority, but lately I am not so sure. So I decided to conduct a good, ol-fashioned BBS experiment and find out what you fellow posters do, sneeze-wise.

Lately thanks to a sinus infection and allergies, I ALWAYS wind up sneezing like at least 5 times in a row per day. One day while driving home from work, I sneezed like 20 times in a minute. I seriously thought I was going to wreck...that is how bad it was.
I've been having some allergy issues too lately...Could it be a Middle Tennessean thing Manny? 4 or 5 consecutives is usually a string for me.
Almost always 3. Has anyone ever done research on a correlation between the average number of times someone sneezes and how often someone can "do it" (uh-huh-huh)? Now that would be a subject for a doctoral thesis...
Once, and only once. But I've seen people sneeze 11 times in a row counting on their fingers how many times they sneezed. Seeing someone's eyes light up in amazement over something like this is just too funny.

Usually 2 for me, but lately, Ive been hitting 4 on a regular basis. Its really a pain in the ass compared to just sneezing twice.
I'd never really thought about this before, and at first was thinking that this was a really stupid thread. Afterall, most people do only sneeze once. Then I sat here at my computer and thought about it, realizing that I do normally sneeze twice. That's odd, something that I'd just never really noticed.
I never realized how well the poll thing works.. too bad I didn't have this back in high school for psychology projects.
I've been having horrible allergies lately too and I'm in Washington State... I usually sneeze three times consecutively except early in the morning when it might be 5-8 times before I get some relief. It sucks.. My older brother suggested that I try some natural immunity builders so I've been taking Bee Pollen and Echinasia (sp?) for the last week and a half. I haven't noticed any change in (I just sneezed 3 times!) my allergies yet, but I'm hoping this will work. Has anyone else tried any homeopathic or natural remedies with any success?
Most of the time, I'll sneeze once, but I have had occasions where I sneezed twice. I don't think I've ever sneezed more than twice in a row, though. Some of my family though, like my mom, can sneeze like 4 or 5 times in a row, or even more. I never could understand how she did that.
Thanks for the participation, guys. It seems it is as I feared: the majority of you people (or at least Rockets fans ) sneeze more than once at a time. I guess I am the weird one. I've been living a lie.
