Since we are talking about associations with neo-Nazis and Hamas, just some polls for the fun of it. Polls aren't perfect (and do change), but they are definitely much better than personal beliefs or generalizations. https://www.nytimes.com/2023/11/30/briefing/polling-gaza.html In an NBC poll, Israel’s approval rating — with 47 percent of Americans saying they feel positively toward it, compared with 24 percent who feel negatively — was very similar to Ukraine’s right now. Only 1 percent of Americans feel positively about Hamas, and 81 percent felt negatively. https://www.timesofisrael.com/nearly-1-in-10-americans-think-neo-nazi-views-okay-poll-finds/ A new poll indicates that nearly one in ten Americans believe that neo-Nazi and white supremacist ideology is “acceptable.” The survey, which was published Monday by ABC News/Washington Post, was conducted in the wake of the violent white nationalist rally earlier this month in Charlottesville, Virginia, in which a woman was killed when a white supremacist drove into a group of counter-protesters. According to the poll of 1,014 respondents, 9 percent of people said that neo-Nazi views are okay to hold, while 83% said such ideology is “unacceptable” and 8% had no opinion.
Hard to believe these figures when you see what's going on on US campuses. Would be good if true. Shocking and sad if true.
1% of 300M = 3M (maybe they are all on campus). Yes, it's good if it's true, and the other number is a bit shocking. Ideally, they should both be 0%, but it is what it is.
https://nypost.com/2023/10/27/opini...for-hamas-but-likely-understates-the-problem/ Then again, “Palestinian Authority” gets 17% support, and Hamas has a 14% positive rating — which is to say 14% of your neighbors have taken the side of a medieval religious cult that’s vicious enough to cut Jewish babies out of mothers before beheading them. ________________ https://harvardharrispoll.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/HHP_Oct23_KeyResults.pdf Unfortunately, your 1 % seem unrealistic. And the numbers in the age group 18-24 are downright shocking.
Not my number, but polling number. Clearly, the polls results are very different for some reason. Maybe I’ll dig into it later.

@AroundTheWorld Went through it. Some possible explanations for the differences. First, the questions and answers: Spoiler Harris Poll US 10/18-19, 2116 registered voters, 11 days after Hamas attack Doesn't breakdown sampling size of each age group Now we will show you some names and groups. Please indicate if you have a favorable or unfavorable view of that person or group - or if you've never heard of them. For Hamas 6% very favorable 7% favorable 24% never heard of, no op 9% unfavorable 54% very unfavorable Do you think the recent attack on Israel was a terrorist attack or not? 14% No, 86% yes following closely - 9% no, 91% yes not following closely - 26% no, 74% yes 18-24 64% yes, 36% no How closely are you paying attention to the war? Not at all or very little: 49% 18-24 33% 25-34 30% 35-44 34% 45-54 32% 55-64 Do you think Hamas is designed as a terrorist group by the US government 36% not 18-24 16% not 65+ Hart Research Associate Poll US 11/10-14, 1000 registered voters, 33 days after Hamas attack 8% 18-24 12 % 75+ Now I'm going to read you the names of several public figures, groups, and places and I'd like you to rate your feelings toward each one as very positive, somewhat positive, neutral, somewhat negative, or very negative. If you don't know the name, please just say so. Hamas 0% very positive 1% somewhat positve 11% neutral 9% somewhat negative 72% very negative 7% don't know / not sure 1 - Public opinion has shifted. The Harris poll was taken 11 days after the Hamas attack. The NBC/Hart poll was taken 33 days afterward. 2 - The NBC/Hart poll has a "neutral" option (11%) whereas Harris doesn't. 3 - Harris has 24% never heard of / no opinion whereas NBC/Hart has a 7% don't know/not sure (likely due to the 11 days vs 33 days in #1) 4 - More than 1/3 of those polled in the Harris poll didn't pay attention to the war, including 49% of those in the 18-24 age range. Among those that don't pay attention, Hamas has better 'positive' numbers. 5 - These are different polls. One asked about 'feeling', the other about 'favorability'. Trends within the same polls would be a better indicator of a possible shift in public opinion.
DeSantis loves throwing Florida taxpayer money at things that don't benefit Florida (like shipping migrants from Texas to wherever). https://apnews.com/article/desantis-florida-budget-cut-jobs-97098b94c452c2d35095469fdc6045b9 DeSantis wants to cut 1,000 jobs, but asks for $1 million to sue over Florida State’s football snub
This is a good way to escape blame and not realize that his poll numbers drop the more he speaks. He's the GOP version of Kamala Harris. Everyone wants to like him on paper, but they actually don't in reality.
This is 100 % true. It looks so weird. He is not really a people person. I agree with a lot of his policies (Covid especially) and disagree with some (guns, abortion), but it is hard for the guy to win when he comes across as so socially awkward.
My theory is that he's silently suffering from his whoreboots on heels. The added stimuli along with his inward megalomaniacal personality being in the limelight is projecting that he's dying inside and the ultimate reward is to make everyone else suffer when he wins. Prince suffered from chronic back pain that he blamed on his lifts. Let Donny win that one Ronny. You're almost making me feel sorry for your clown ass.
