LOL!!! Battier will look back at 3 years of playoffs and say thank you god for trading me to the Rockets.
Battier didn't seem like he wanted to be traded because he of his loyalty to Memphis, but I'm sure he's happy for the trade now.
monkey off he back? ...lets hope he plays better with it off. i love battier either way. as many have said, hes been a true asset this year and im not so sure where we would be w/o him.
Lol. Congratulations. Next stop will be his first playoff series, and then the first championship ring.
Yea, I don't know if anyone caught it on the ESPN telecast, but the Rockets were walking back in the tunnel after the game, you can clearly read Yao's lips as he tells Battier, "Hey, it's only one game!" Battier then looks back at Yao and says something which makes everyone around him crack up. I'm assuming he said something to the effect of, "Yea, but that's more than I've ever won before in Memphis!!"
LOL... I saw that too. Funny moment. But what about that diving play he made in the second quarter I believe it was. Even though the call got reversed, it was one heck of a play. Glad he's on our team.
congrats to my boy SHANEEEEEEE BATTIERRRR for his first playoff game win.... Hopefully Shane can provide more offensive threats in game 2.... Gotta love shaneeeeeeeeeeeee battierrrrr yeaaah yeaahhhh!!!
Does anyone else feel REALLY bad for beeing so pissed off about trading for him? I know Rudy Gay's potential remains to be seen, but it is definitely making an immediate impact, like the Rockets hoped. Oh well, we may regret it in a feel years.... at least not now. I even wrote a threatening e-mail to the Rockets, saying I'd never go to a game again. Not that they care, but man...
congrates to battier for 1 playoffs win after 3 yrs of being sweeped in 1st round. That will never happen again
