If this is true then this is a good time. We play the spurs on friday and without him the pacers shouldn't be a threat to us. Artest should go off considering this is his old team. We don't need McGrady for this one. Good timing T-Mac. We need him for the Spurs Ginobli is back :(

so i guess tracy just played b/c shane was out. now with shane back, he'll really work on that knee.

wonder how long he'll be out for though.

Is it because he hurt something last game, or just resting? If he is just resting, I think it's a good idea.

I wouldn't underestimate the Pacers. They have the 2nd highest point differential in their division even though they're in last place.

They've had the 4th strongest SOS according to Hollinger.

A couple of advantages for us:

    1. Home game
    2. Back end of a back-to-back for the Pacers

The Pacers have plenty of bigs: Foster, Nesterovic, Murphy, Hibbert

Granger keeps getting better and Marquis Daniels is off to the best start of his career.

They have a good PG combo in Ford and Jack.

Dunleavy had the best season of his career last season. He is out for a while though.

This won't be an easy game.

What is he a pitcher? I guess we need to sign a closer too in addition to Deke.

Pacers are reallllly good even though there record doesnt show. They have blown about 3 leads where they should of won so it is not going to be easy.

They said his knee was pretty sore today. i think they were waiting on battier to come back.

I can u this much, Pacers are not going to be an easy team to beat. They are good offense team. Its going to be a tight game.

Pessimism because I'm saying not to underestimate the Pacers?

I didn't say the Rockets couldn't beat them, just that the Pacers are probably better than their record.

    You and your misinterpretation...

honsetly i really don't mind him being out. we lost against a parkerless, ginobililess spurs team WITH mcgrady. at this point i think a 2 guard who can shoot consistently and move w/o the ball is a better option than t-mac. i'm actually happy he's sitting out.

Agreed. If we are going to rest him, rest him against an eastern conf 5-7 team. Four days of rest really helps.

Who said it on the radio? Who is the source? Tmac, Morey, Adelman?

An EC team with the 4th strongest SOS in the entire league.

An EC team with the 2nd highest point differential in their division.

An EC team with plenty of bigs: Foster, Nesterovic, Murphy, Hibbert

An EC team with a solid PG combo: Ford and Jack

An EC team with two wing players playing the best of their careers: Granger and Daniels

This is not a walkover game.

The Pacers are better than their record.

Having said that, there are few reasons this is as good a time as any to rest McGrady:

    1. Battier supposed to return
    2. Pacers play tonight
    3. Home game

Everyone here is slurping the Pacers. I don't think anyone underestimates em. We get it.
