The only Ladytron song I've ever heard was "Seventeen"... It's kind of catchy, but I didn't know they were concert material.

Cheaper to buy there than ticketmaster? I see it for 20 on ticketmaster then of course the ungodly amount of service charge.

I'm more a fan of opener Datarock from Norway.

Also don't buy your tickets on Ticketmaster. There is no way this is selling out. Just buy them on the day of the concert from the box office.

I'm going. I saw Datarock at Coachella and they had a great set, plus I've always like Ladytron.

I haven't decided yet, but leaning toward going. I like Datarock and the girlfriend loves Ladytron, so there's a good chance.

Geez. I love Datarock too, more than Ladytron. Too bad I'll be in North Carolina until. What compels a band like Ladytron to go to Houston anyways?

I'm tempted to go to this for the hell of it. I've never been to this venue...what's it like? Small/Intimate? Also, what kind of crowd will this attract?

The Meridian main room is the crappiest music venue in all of Houston, imo. The side room is not much better, but you can get a decent view. I really don't like those venues that don't let you walk outside during the set change.

Even places like Warehouse Live allow you do to that.

I think this show is in the Meridian side room. It holds about maybe 500?

I don't know anything about them, other than that they are playing here in Austin this week at Antone's. I saw it on the marquee last night when I went to the Augustana show.

I REALLY want to see Ladytron but I loathe the Meridian. Undecided.

I saw them the last time they were here (fall 2006 I think). Not terrible, but with all the sequenced parts, you're really not getting anything different than the albums (other than maybe more volume and less fidelity).

Good show. Lots of cute indie chicks.

    They didn't play Sugar.

I saw Ladytron about 4 years ago and I had never heard of them but was invited by a girl I had just started dating. The music did sound a lot like Kraftwerk and the otherthing I remembered was that the band never smiled.

That's because Kraftwerk never smile. In fact, they show no emotions whatsoever.
