800 x 600 is for grannies...

do you find yourself having to scroll over to see a full page sometimes?

1024 is much sharper and best for any kind of graphics manipulation.

Personally, I use 1024 on my laptop and an 1100 setting on my desktop...

 

Depends on how big your monitor is.

 

I'm using 1024*768, but i didn't like it at first and I have a feeling it was the same reason you didn't like it. The text was too hard to read.

So, if you want to change that, go to the Desktop, right click, click settings tab, click advanced, change the DPI setting to 120.

 

1600 x 1200 on my laptop... and anything below 1024 x 720 makes me VOMIT...

 

I am forced with a max of 1024*768 because of my laptops screen. I hate this resolution, it's too big.

 

1280 x 1024 but a lot of ppl i know think the the icons are too small.

 

19" monitor, 1280x960 at refresh rate of 85 hertz. Just perfect. I use to have it 1600x1200 and it was damn to small to work with and lots of thing slow down.

 

i USE 1024 * 768.


if you think the icons are too small, you could set it to use large icons.
