Any computer junkies in here? im getting a new labtop and i wanna play some nba live 2004 on it, first of all, is it even possible to play it without a pentium4? and secondly, if it is possible, which is a better processor, amd athlon either 2200 or 2400, OR intel celeron? thanks for the help u kind computer nerds out there!!:p BTW does ne one know the recommended specs for nba live 2004? ill probably have 256 ram 20 hard drive, either athlon or celeron 2 ghz, and i think the video card is gonna be a intergrated extreme intel one that shares memory from the ram :( will that be enough?

Where can I get a labtop?

How about this: try consulting EA Sports' website. I'm sure they'll have your info. E-mail them if you need.

    Why would we know?

it's more about ur video card than ur cpu speed. i played nba live 2003 on my AMD 1.2GHZ, it's slow becoz i only have a 16mb video card. it run smooth on my friend's computer, he has the same cpu as mine, and a 128mb Geforce 4.

And just to add to the above, Alienware actually offers Gaming Notebooks, since you were looking for a laptop... If you want blazin' speed, I'm guessing that's where you'll get it!

The new Toshiba Satelite with the Geforce FX 5600 is the best you can get right now.

I have one and it runs everything on it.

Alienware makes some of the most overpriced pc's around. Of course if you'd rather pay hundreds more for a laptop because it looks cool, then that's different. They make cool looking stuff, but they're just rebadged ODM stuff. The Area 51m line of notebooks can be had for hundreds cheaper by buying something like a Sager 5670/80- they're the same models. Oh yeah, my bad, but it won't be green. :)
