COMPUTER PROBLEM, PLEASE HELP!

    When I try to access a website where I have to log-in (hotmail, bank, credit card websites, etc.) the following error appears:

    Runtime Error!

    Program: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE

    abnormal program termination


    What do I do?

    I'm not sure what could be causing it, but it could be a corrupt program file. Might want to try re-installing IE (same or newer version) from a CD or something....and definately scan for virii and for disk errors.

    Sounds kinda suspicious when involving login information, though program termination may lead away from that.

    I just restored my computer to an earlier date (Friday, April 26) and it fixed the problem.
