I accidently renamed an executable file as a jpg, and now everytime i click on it it opens photoshop and says, file not readable, i renamed it .exe, but the association as an image is still there, anyway to change this so that i can open my program again?

    thx

In the folder, go to Tools > Folder Options > View, and then uncheck the "Hide extensions for known file types." The .jpg should now appear and you can change it to .exe.

It took me so long to realize how to do that. I went two years of changing the file name in cmd prompt.

Hehe... I remember when I was like 13-15 on the family computer I would take all my good p*rn I wanted to keep and delete the extension and change the filename to something inconspicuous like "1" or "blah"... Boy did I think I was clever!
