Computer help: What do I need to download

    I just reinstall my window but when I'm at some websites I can only see box with a lil x on it instead of the pictures.

    Also I have download and install Java 2 Platform Standard Edition but when I'm at www.sportsline.com to watch the baseball game it doesnt update it live like it use to... I would have to refresh it to get it updated.

    What do I need to download?
