For some reason, I can't save gifs or jpegs. Every time I save a picture, its supposed to have a title right? On my comp, it always saves it as untitled, and as a bitmap. What the hell? And when I use the scroll button there arent any options to save it as another format, just .bmp. Thanks for your help

as far as I know there is no way to remove ie
that's why Microsnot is being sued as we speak
    this is just a work-around
I don't use ie (since 3.0) so i wouldn't know how to fix it
but it does sound like a messed up setting somewhere rather than a browser failure

    Nah, this COULDN'T be p*rn...

Try a couple of things before you start installing/reinstalling a bunch of stuff...

Dump your "temporary internet cache" folder.

Make sure the "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" option is unchecked in the IE Advanced properties.

Most likely that will take care of the problem. Now, if your only having the problem with sites that have a username/password as part of the URL (like http://username: password@siteishouldntbevisiting.com), then there might be some other things you have to do...

    Try this first.
