How important is it to have a graphic card on a laptop? Is 3G memory without a graphic card good enough? Does add a 128 mb graphic card make that much difference?
Most likely a 128mb graphics card won't make much difference. Most of laptops has built-in graphic card that uses shared memory.
Ya, the build in grphic card is what I am talking about, most laptop don't have an added seperate grphic card. So 128 mb is not really going make much difference I guess?
It makes a huge difference if you use it for any type of graphic intensive program.... Even opening images etc. Or especially for games. Get it, you will not regret it. DD
I uses Photoshop, and I can't notice any significant differences between my laptop (shared memory), and my desktop (512mb stand alone memory). 128mb ain't gonna be enough to play any game, so I really don't see the point.
you'll probably need one if you want to use vista... i've got a geforce go 7400 which is 256mb and a 1 gig ram...and it runs like clockwork...but on the negative side...it does get a bit hot...
