Name on thing the human race has done well. This is loosely related to a thread in the D&D. I think we deserve props. We've done some excellent stuff.

    I'll start:

Props to the human race for creating the internet/world wide web. It is an awesome invention. We are freakin excellent.

P.S. Feel free to post multiple things.

Actually that's starting to be a problem. Some countries have negative growth now which really helps to screw over your economy. The US would be the same but immigration (and subsequent offspring of said immigrants) allows for moderate growth.

Japan's also getting hit hard by negative growth as well

What's the worry when you have India that is poised to overtake China as the most populous nation on earth in a few years?

Props to the Human race, 50 years ago the world was on the brink of a nuclear war and people were dying of TB, Polio, Influenza, and small pox.

Today we are still on the brink of nuclear war, but people are now dying of AIDS, Bird Flu, and Heart disease (fast food)...still gotta hand it to the human race for creating the polio vaccine, the pox vaccine, and almost eliminating TB from the world (now rising due to rising HIV).

...50 years from now (2057), if we are still around (pending nuclear war) we will still be facing a few new diseases.

This is exactly what this thread is NOT about.

It's time to give the human race props. The way I see it, there is no benchmark, so who knows, maybe we kick ass, and maybe we don't. We can debate it in the D&D forum forever, but over here, I'm interested in knowing what people appreciate that the human race has done for them.

Doesn't it seem kind of self-serving as humans to give ourselves props?

I will say props to us for developing space travel. If this planet has any hope its that humans will be able to colonize other planets.

    Inventing fire was pretty good.
