A buddy of mine at work today was having a debate, if you were GM, and had to start up a new team, which tandem would you rather have.

1 - Kevin Garnett and Terrel Brandon

    or

2 - Maurice Taylor and Steve Francis

Well, anyways I'm a Houston fan, I picked #2, he a Timberpuppy fan picked #1. But I am curious, objectively, which would you pick?

Granted you don't loose either way..

I think Garnet is slightly overrated, and Taylor underrated. Francis-Taylor all the way. I'm sorry, but Terell is, well, overrated.

By signing secret deals with mediocre players.

Steve will be a SUPERSTAR too. An advantage Steve may have over KG is that he is and wants to be his team's leader. This is the reason that Steve wants to play the 1 and not the 2 in the pros.

In a fantasy game, KG and TB, of course.

Mo doesn´t rebound (yet) and KG is triple double machine.

Francis is way too turnover prone too, and that limits his fantasy effectiveness.

On the other hand, Brandon is injury prone.

The best combo is Francis and KG, IMHO.

Just look at last nights game ... who would you pick to be on your team. For all of you who stayed loyal and chose Francis and Mo ... then just look foward to more arse kickings like we took last night. Mo still didn't board ... francis sucked ... what more do you want on your team.

I think Mo did a decent job on KG. I know Garnett had 26 pts but everytime he shot the ball Mo was in his face and thats all you can ask for. Plus Mo put a bad ass crossover on KG in the 1st quarter.

Well after last night, that seems kind of obvious.

    #1 No question...

Steve definitely needs to step up if he is going to be "The Franchise"!!!

Anyone hear ever laughed at a puppy that hasn't grown into its legs? Have you seen a deer that jumps awkwardly (yet cutely)?

Once Francis' nerves adjust to his sheer skill, he'll be fine.

But that Mo Taylor vs. KG comparison makes me laugh. HA-HA-HA-HA. It is a manly laugh, for men such as me. HA-HA-HA-HA.

    Just give me Garnett.

I would take him over Steve and Mo.

Garnett is a SUPERSTAR, the rest of these players are nice, but not great....yet.
