It depends which game you're going to. Last season I went to 6 games, 5 of those I was able to move to better seat. The one I couldn't was the 3-OT thriller against the Pacers.

    Good luck!

Is it ever possible to move into the lower prom? We've always been too chicken. Speaking of $10 tickets, I hope we get there in time to get some tonight.
Would they throw you out if you're in the lower prom and got caught? I don't want to cause trouble, but it would be nice to check out the view from down there sometime. (Not $100 nice, but nice)

I think they should drop the prices a bunch in the pre-season. It might make it possible to get a couple full houses out and see what the place is like when it rocks. I bet people would enjoy the games more and come back, leading to more tickets sales.

My Best "free" seats where a game against Seattle last year when we moved into about the 7th row in section 122. The rim was at eye level so you could see everything on both ends. It was awesome. We sat there the whole 4th quarter. Beautiful.

On Thursday night versus the Clippers I will be in Section 125, Row B Seats 1-4 :D My Old Companies Season Tickets.

    Go Rockets!!!

I went to 40+ games last year and I moved to better seats in almost every one. Just pick your seats and make the move during quarter of half time. Have a back up just in case the real owner of the seats turns up late. No reason why you can't move into the lower prom either.

    yeah, move! listen to davo.

In the lower prom it will be random until halftime. The lower prom people sometimes do not show up until the 3rd quarter. But don't wait for them, because you'll lose your choice to another squatter. Just scope some seats (I recommend the bench side without the tunnel), and take them before the end of halftime. This will likely get harder and more random with success.

The upper deck is usually better attended, but they all usually show up within 6 minutes into the game. So you could scope those and move much earlier.
