I thought I remembered seeing some by the stairs out front?

Why not ride over there one day and check it out? Maybe on the weekend.

do you have two locks? are your tires and seat quick release? you'll have to find a place to lock it up, i've never seen a bike rack at the CC... they have some railing and stuff up front where the ticket purchase booths are, not to be confused with the colored will call windows... there are also some sign posts, etc along the side of the CC....

good luck... i would call the CC and ask.

There must be a tree, a post, a fence, or something you could lock the bike to. Good advise on ensuring it's totally locked. I use a U lock around the front tire and frame, and a cable around the back and through the seat, and have never had any problems (other then finding the bike knocked over).

Also, consider getting there early and asking at the gate. I've had the security guys volunteer to bring my bike INSIDE to a locked room during events. And this was at big Compaq Centre size venues.

    Good luck. Happy peddling.

Well I figure saving gas, cutting down on the Houston pollution, getting some exercise, all while going to see my favorite basketball team play isn't necessarily a bad thing. :p

There is a bike lane along Westpark from Newcastle to Edloe which is where I would say my prayers (crossing over 59).

Id probably take a backpack to store my seat and things. Definitely would want to get 2 locks for it......

Do it. And let us know how it turns out. You'd be surprised how accomodating people are towards bikes if you ask. Especially in places where peddling isn't so common.
