I was listening to John and Lance in the morning yesterday and Lance was talking about how he liked the NFL Network commericals where the current player is being interviewed and he bumps into an older player, a HOF and he has visions of said HOF winning the Super Bowl. Then the current player runs off, like he has to get ready for practice or something and giving the interview is meaningless. There's one with Roy Williams (cowboys) and Roger Staubach. I've seen a couple of products advertised with that concept and they all come from Nissan. You know where the guy or woman touches the Maxima on and then all of sudden has visions flying through the city or countryside behind the wheel of a Maxima. anyone else notice that and what other commercials clearly robbed another company's concept.
Doesn't LaFawnDuh come out on one of them? She's in the one where the French dude tries to stop that Rick Fox look-alike dude coming out of the restaurant. The Toyota ones with Waltrip answering what he's going to do with his new Toyota Tundra come to mind. That one concept of Nissan where the guy is talking and the text is scrolling UP at the same time was one everyone started to do right after them. Everyone stole the idea with scrolling the text up as the guy spoke at the same time... even "El Martillo Tejano" Jim Adler stole it.
