It's airs a lot during Rockets games so that's why I remember it. It's the one where the dude comes home with a new dog...the kids jump up and say "A dog?!". The wife, looking bothered says, "I thought we weren't going to get a dog unless we got a house..." Dude looks at her and says "we got the house". Just the look on their faces drives me nuts. Maybe I'm just a cynical old fart. os
No, that commercial is a buggering awful piece of work. I hate that stupid woman with that gaspy voice. the whole commercial is a pathetic attempt to "warm our hearts". Instead, it makes me want to retch. I'm getting sick right now just thinking about it.

My wife hates a commerical that I love: the one for the Nissan Frontier where the driver parks next to a sanitation vehicle. The driver opens the door, it bumps the sanitation vehicle and it tips over!! Now I want a Nissan Frontier!
The commercial that annoys the hell out of me is a the volkswagon one with the guy that has a car attatched to his head. And it gets bigger and bigger.... Ugh something about it that that just pisses me off. I mean what the **** does it mean? Is it on his mind more or what?! AHHHHHHh I hate even thinking about it!
Anything from Jack-In-The-Box. Jack is a moron...best commercial he was ever in was when they blew him up years ago. Should have left him for dead....

The husband in that Fannie Mae Foundation ad is Raphael Sbarge who has been a bit actor in films like Pearl Harbor and Independence Day among others. But my favorite was when he played Sherman, the geeky kid, in My Science Project. Ah, what a movie! By the way, am I the only one who finds the little girl in that commerical to just be freaky looking?
Oh, I forgot commercials I hate. Most of all, drug company commercials. I'm not sure if it is the subtle way they slip in the fact that internal bleeding and your toes falling off are the most common side effects or the way they try to shame you into buying the drugs I find most appealling. I can't stand the anti-depressants where they show some poor depressed slob and his family saying, "Why are you so depressed? You are bringing me down!" as if he doesn't feel like blowing his brains out already. Then, once he's pumped up on anti-depressants, they show his wife saying, "Hey, I remember you. This is the husband I remember." Ugh! Nevermind trying to help your loved one through a tough time. Let's just make sure they feel as bad as possible until they have no choice but to either get a divorce and kill themselves or throw down a handful of Xanax.
I despise any political commercial in Texas where they show the politician riding a horse, or roping a calf. That kind of commercial will automatically lose my vote, regardless of who is in it . . . .
I don't hate the drug commercials, but then again, I love drugs! But for real, one of my favorites is the Zoloft commercial with the cute little depressed rock. He's so lonely and sad and then he gets drugs and everything is better! And maybe it's just me, but the commercials for depression don't bug me, and I have depression (and I'm on drugs for it). They don't make me feel worse. I can relate to them. I hate the Dell Computer commercials. And the VW commercial and the zoom zoom. Those are my least favorites.
That Moronic Coors Light ad where that guy keeps going "Stick it in the fridge" "I like cold beverage yeah!" or whatever the hell, It just annoys the living crap out of me. moondogg - cmon dude, Jack in the Box has the best commercials ever! Jeff - I think Sbarge is on that new CBS show "The Guardian".
