Well, I'm headed to Houston on business, and I should have pretty much most of the day off on Monday the 7th.
So what would you suggest I do/I eat while I'm in town? I'm staying at the Marriott at IAH airport, and while I will have a vehicle I'd rather not drive TOO far as I really would have no clue where I'm going. :) But I'm definitely open to suggestions, especially regarding places I might pick up some Rox gear (living in Salt Lake, there's just not as much of it as you might think...:))

    Thanks.

If you like golf you can always play a round at Redstone Golf Club where the Shell Houston Open is....other than that, there is nothing to do near the airport. Have you ever been to Houston?

Everytime I come back home, I make it a point to get to Goode Co. BBQ. If you're gonna be in Texas, you need to have some REAL BBQ, and it just doesn't really get any better than that. I-10 @ Voss, hit that place up.

Unfortunately I don't think there is that much interesting around IAH. If you haven't been to Houston in awhile or ever I recommend going to visit downtown and midtown. Things have changed a lot there in just the past 10 years.

Yeah, go near the Galleria if you have time or Downtown at night to grab a beer...

For food, in Downtown, I would try Zydeco's for Cajun, I believe its off of Pease...For Mexican, on Chenevert near the 59 North exit out of downtown there is a place called Irma's...Get the lemonade...it rocks..
