I grew up in Houston, but I haven't really been back in a long time. I'll be playing Thursday through Saturday this weekend at Pete's Dueling Piano bar and I'll have my wife with me so I'm looking for stuff to do while I'm down there.

We'll be staying downtown, but we'll have a car so a little driving is not a big deal. We were thinking about checking out museum, zoo, etc.

    Also, any suggested restaurants, medium-priced?

If any of you come by Pete's let me know that you're coming and I'll see if I can get you on the guest list and at the least I'll buy you a drink. I haven't had a chance to meet very many clutchfans through the years.

What do you normally do for fun, what's your age range, etc?

Went to Baba Yega's this weekend in Montrose. Its pretty sweet, would definitely recommend. Nice food, a little pricer than average, but worth the price, IMO.

Probably stay off the freeways. It's supposed to rain unfortunately.

We are in our 30s and we don't do a lot of stuff normally because of the kids. Here in Austin when we get out it's normally something at the Alamo drafthouse or a comedy show.

I would visit Kemah, Galleria, Stros have cheap preseason games vs the Jays this weekend and Washington Ave for nightlife but of course you might be a bit busy lol.

I didn't know that the Astros would have anything going on. I was a little disappointed that we weren't coming during the season as that's something that I always enjoy when I have been in town. I'll see if I can talk my wife into it.

Of course she will probably be more interested in the aquarium.

The Aquarium is nice, forgot to mention it. The Stros' games are preseason so you can probably get tickets REALLY cheap and then move on down to the field level.
