was revealed on Colbert a short time ago. http://www.theverge.com/2014/7/16/5...e-rogers-with-the-first-black-captain-america
You made me think they were rebooting it with Steve Rodgers as a black man. I have absolutely no problem with a new character taking over
Since it's one of Cap's fans I'm cool with this. But what is Steve Rogers gonna be doing while this is going on I wonder?
And make Wonder Woman a transvestite. Seriously though. I don't understand the comic world of having different iterations of a single character and many many different parallel universes.
Steve Rogers lost the super soldier serum in the current continuity and aged rapidly (he's in his 90s). Don't worry in like 6 months this will all get retconned.
I can understand someone taking over the role of Captain America because you can kinda of think of that as just a title. But Thor? How the eff does Thor turn into a woman?
I agree. I think thats one of the reasons I lost interest in comics growing up. Its annoying to read something then find out it doesnt matter because we're "rebooting the universe." No one comes up with anything fresh anymore. Movies are all reboots or sequels or based on books/TV. Comics seem to be mostly alternate universe spinoffs or whatever you call this.
Hhhmm . . . So Now If Chris Evans leaves After Captain America 3 they can give the role to Anthony Mackie and say it was always planned to be that way Rocket River I need to ReWatch The Winter Soldier again
I think they wrote a Captain America story featuring a black lead before. I guess he wasn't Captain America, but the first American Super Soldier.
