I'm going, but this year is the weakest lineup in the 3 years I've been, first year I'm probably going to get a day pass instead of an all weekend pass. wish I could attend but I'll be in Dallas. On a slightly related note, how does an AnimeCon compare to a ComiCon? I've gone to two FanExpos (Dallas ComiCon) this year, but have never even heard of an AnimeCon until today. Looking at going to one in Austin next month. Thanks in advance for any help/info!
Yeah, my understanding was that there was something else at GRB on memorial day weekend this year that was scheduled some time ago that caused them to change the weekend. I fully expect it to be 4 days again next year. The lineup this year isn't bad, but the last couple of years have been better, when all else fails hit up the game room and play some tabletop. I'll be demo'ing the new Marvel Munchkin game in the game room at 10am Saturday if anyone wants to learn to play.
looks like they are bringing back Charlie Hunnam and fixing Space City Con's screw up, since they are accepting VIP tickets from SCC and even giving 3 days passes for those VIP ticket holders bravo to them
Co signing with Dave, had the hots for her since then and yeah I was about 13 or whatever. She's um, grown up quite nicely. Nice! I don't know if I'll be showing up, but I definitely want to play it.
Eliza's photo op and autograph prices are the same, so I'll be getting a photo with her... Steve Jackson will have MiB's (Men in Black) in the game room all weekend, if you want to play any of their games someone is available to demo. I am hosting the game Saturday morning as a part of my application process to become a MiB. The new Marvel Munchkin is my favorite so far, its fun with affiliations to S.H.I.E.L.D, Hydra, etc. and your character can get super powers.
