Looks like Kevin Spacey will play Lex Luthor and Kate Bosworth will play Lois Lane.

The Wachowski Brothers are about to make a movie of Alan Moore's V for Vendetta, a graphic novel about an England under fascist rule in an alternate future if the Nazi's had won WWII. V is a freedom fighter in a cloak and mask trying to overthrow the 1984 style govt. Natalie Portman has been cast and the movie will be directed by the first assistant director of the matrix movies. Those of you who have read the book, who do you think should play V?

I know there are a lot of fans, but for some reason those Batman pics look stupid to me.

Well, actually the other pics that aren't linked look good, just that pic above with him in a suit shooting something with Terminator 2 like factory in the background looks cheesy.

I don't get what's supposed to be stupid about those pics?

And if Spacey is playing the evil, powerful businessman who creates havoc behind the scenes Luthor; then I can see that possibly working.

I feel like they could have done better than another rubber suit, too. I mean, they're supposedly hitting the reset button on the franchise, yet they pick a suit that looks exactly like the ones in all the other Batman movies.

I haven't read V, but the premise sounds great. "Watchmen" rules and Alan Moore is the man, but I can't see the upcoming "Watchmen" movie being anything but teh s uck.

Why they'd pick a woman who looks like she's 15 to play Lois Lane isn't something I quite understand.

I don't know. At least they haven't put him in the George Clooney nipple outfit.

Yeah, Kate Bosworth just doesn't click in my mind as Lois Lane.

Come on, those Batman pic look sweet. As for the suit, what other path would like them to take? Spandex? I'd rather not.

I know it looks like it, but trust me, he's not in a factory.

    Here's another pic.

Oh, if I read that third set report correctly, the suit is mostly made out of the same stuff as the Spiderman costume. He wears a neoprene suit and then they attach the foam rubber molded parts that are supposed to be armor.

    Thank God.

I though Boz was making a comeback. He could have played the washed up ex-football player pushing the bat broom.
