When the Rockets contract with UPN20 ended this past season, they (originally) were still going to air 6 Comets games on UPN20. Once UPN20 was purchased by FOX and moved into the FOX26 building, that seemed to have fallen apart. Now that the Houston Comets have a flagship broadcast home on KNWS Channel 51. Being that the Comets and Rockets are like brother and sister, I wonder if the Rockets are going to follow suit and also have a contract with 51. That would make Channel 51 "Your Houston Sports Station" airing Astros, Comets and Rockets. Since 51 has NO identity, it would really suit them well to become the Sports Station that the old "20 Vision" was in the 80's. But again, the signal kinda sucks and 51 needs updated equipment and a better overall "Look!" The Astros games are okay but their pre and post game shows need help. UPN20 has gotten drilled by Star Trek, WWF, and Buffy fans the past couple of years for pre-empting those network shows. And UPN has actually had a stronger network lineup recently. But the "Ming Effect" could make ratings skyrocket and I think that could be beneficial to UPN20 and FOX!!! Anyway, what's you opinion on the matter? Personally, I would like the Rockets back on UPN20!
