Seth was surprisingly funny. I really didn't think he would be, which is why he may have been funny. Jeffery Ross is still the GOAT.
Damn, I forgot about this and cancelled my cable a couple of days ago. Oh well....will have to find it on the net.
Pretty good stuff. Not surprisingly, George Hamilton and Hulk Hogan were awkward and bad, but Lampanelli, Seth, Ross and the like picked up the slack. For the record, Jerry Springer is the obligatory person in the group who doesn't sell the jokes and gets offended instead of taking it in stride. EDIT: Pam Anderson is making a late run for being the spoil sport. She has been caught a few times on camera frowning or looking disinterested.
I was hopeful, but as far as roasts go it was just ok. If you have a good dais, you have great targets for jokes and great joke tellers. But it was on the small side, fewer comedians, and not so good celebrity material. The actual comedians delivered though. Giraldo was the best of the night imho.
