I've gotten recorded calls about the changeover, but nothing has happened yet. Have any of you former Time Warner folks changed your email yet?

I haven't. I read somewhere that it could be the end of the year before people start getting the messages, but I think it will be sooner.

Luckily I did not use my RR email so the changeover won't be a big deal.

Strangely enough, I got a call from Comcast about a past due bill. I have my account setup for automatic bill pay, and I mention this, and almost immediately the woman on the line is like 'oh yeah I see it here you have that set up. I apologize for calling you.'

I check my account today and, of course, there's a past due charge still on there. Sigh. I'll have to call them and straighten it up tomorrow.

Also; anyone who is just hanging on to their current cable package should really check their rates. The Comcast bundle for practically the same thing I have now is actually cheaper than the TW one...but of course they are still charging me the old TW price.

Something else I'll have to fix tomorrow.

I've got RR, and I got a letter in the mail that said in July my e-mail will change, and also the speed will increase by 1MB. I still havent heard anything though. Can you really reserve an e-mail address in advance?

I heard mid July as well. I'm thinking of going Gmail full time. I have a few throw away accounts on there already.

My 'Comcast' service this week has been horrendous.

They've been doing network changes during the $%@ day and I've lost connection so many times that I can't get any work done!

Hopefully it will be better once they straighten things out.

    Comcast blows.
