Anyone use them for collecting DVDs? What are the good and bad points? I use to have the CD deal and they would send crap every month. Is the DVD club the same way? Thanks for the comments.

I guess it's a decent deal. You get 4 dvds for $.49 a piece plus S&H...around $20. Then you have to buy 2 within a year, I believe, at around $20 a piece, plus S&H, so around $25 a piece. You come out paying around $9 a dvd, not bad, except you have to keep up with sending the cards back in.

you can also get good bargains on DVD's through eBay!! I usually pay around 11-15 bucks with shipping for some that i've bought... unless they are out of print or hard to find. just make sure you are bidding on Region 1 DVD's if you live in the U.S.

You can also decline the Director's Selection online these days, which I find a bit easier than sending the cards back.
