I dont know how many of you were watching the game on FSSW, but I've never heard a Color Commentator speak so confident as if a trade was going to be made.

"Tony Parker has ran up and down the floor all night!"
    "Stickland cant play, hes limping"
"Rockets better get on that phone before the trade deadline tomorrow, time is running out!"-Bill Worrell (Rockets Color Commentator)
"They will make a trade before 2pm tomorrow, I believe that with all my heart now!"(Van Chancellor - Rockets Color Commentator)

    What do you guys think?
    Are they hinting at something?

If they keep saying these kinds of things, people will notice and our chance of getting a good deal off a trade is dwindling.

Well, they clearly can't rely on the PGs we have now to stem the tide while Sura is out. So, I'll be REAL shocked if they don't get somebody.

PURE speculation. Van is saying what all of us would -- after this game, the Rockets need to make a deal. I personally thought that was obvious after the Sonics game.

Sacramento has now traded Webber for pure crap. Rockets have a good shot of getting in that top 4 in the West if they can find a good stopgap solution until Sura comes back, and comes back healthy and strong. We need insurance at the position badly.

I'm sorry, but another combo-guard with chronic headaches and still a horrible contract doesn't make me feel any better about the situation. They NEED a REAl PG!!!!

    Bunch of crap man!

I am depressed after that Webber-for-crap trade to Philly.

CD should get some hints from Philly on how to make a steal before the trade deadline.

    This is depressing man!

If you don't think the Rockets should give up a 1 pick after tonights game you must be ready to give up on the season. Manu and Parker outscored Strickland, Barret, Barry, and Wesley 40-18.

I did hear Van say he thinks a trade will be made in the morning, no doubt about it. He may know something, or he may not.

I would still take DA in a heartbeat, but you're right. It has been more than clear that our PG play is killing us and will continue to kill us.

We need a real PG, NVE-Stoudemire-Daniels-Mike James, anybody.

After watching tonight's game, I think anyone would make those comments. I have never seen a team in such a desperate need for a position player...especially after Strickland and Barret went down w/ injuries tonight..shoot, this could be a good reality show...like Project Greenlight or somethin....only called Project Point Guard..

what else was VC suppose to say ?!?!

"don't worry Rocket fans, maybe next game we will have a bigger lead so it won't matter that we get outplayed at the PG spot during the final minutes of the game"

    Clutch,

I take it your rumor mill is empty? Or just can't be released? Hopefully something's on the table.. granted these were two good teams, we should have won

We have got to be able to get something for Maurice Taylor and/or the Trade Exception. There are many teams in the league who need someone with the offensive potential of Maurice.

We saw how great the team can be the last few weeks. We cannot let it slip away. . .

Why not.. they just dumped Webber for salary reasons.. Bibby has to have one of the biggest salaries on that team..
