As Hank Hill once said, it's a good holiday season when Notre Dame loses their bowl game. GEAUX TIGERS!!!
Assuming the years where they don't qualify for a bowl are as good as a loss, we're on a run of like 10 straight good holiday seasons........
Seriously do you guys hate Catholics or Irish people because I'm about to kick everyone's behind up in here. Meet me at LIVE. KAS13 will be my backup.
The only other person worthy of inventing the forward pass was Vince Young, and he came half a century too late. You owe your life and your first born to ND.
I'm Catholic myself, but Notre Dame gets on my nerves. I'll rephrase that. I resent ND. Because they are an independent school, they keep all of the money from bowl games. ND going to a meaningless bowl game, I can live with that since the money they will make from that would not be very much. I hope they never play in a BCS game ever again. Also, ND has it's own TV deal. Does the ND athletic dept. really need all of that money? NO. It is a private school and it's one of the most expensive schools in the nation to attend. The AD makes enough money as it is from tuition and donors. I hope ND has a losing season every year so they will lose their TV deal and be forced to join the Big Ten. In other words, I hope ND gets slaughtered tonight. That will give N.O. another thing to cheer about with all that has happened.
I hope Laron Landry and Jamarcus Russell have big games tonight. Landry is one of the guys I hope the Texans take a good look at, Russell to for that matter but we'll see on him.
Not that it matters, but I would guess that since ND recruits nationally, and LSU recruits primarily in Lousiana (a state with a large Catholic population), LSU might very well have more Catholic players than ND. Geaux Tigers
You obviously don't know anything about who has the most national championships. Seriously I'm just trolling. Of course they are overated this year and their Catholicity can certainly be questioned. Doesn't stop me from rooting for them. GO IRISH!
Forgot to add that ND has no business in a BCS game. 1 loss should have knocked them out of BCS contention and they have 2. Is that unfair or what?
Has Notre Dame beaten a top 10 team at all over the last two seasons? Last year I know they beat Michigan but that team ended up being lousy and dropping out of the top 20.
I hate LSU because they take Texas talent away from Texas colleges. I also resent John and Lance pimping their program so much. I don't care too much for ND either for the same reasons everyone else hates them. But I DID like the movie Rudy, so I'll probably pull for ND.
