Well, Rudy knew that Collier would fit in very well with our system. That, plus the fact that Collier has more skill than Pryzbilla, and I dont think it should have been a very tough choice, much less one that would cause so much surprise here.

The real bonus is the Bucks'pick. Right now it's number 18 in deep draft. (TWolves don't get one).

Well after all of our nagging on Draft day Rudy T knew something.

Have ya'll compared Joel Prysbilla's numbers to Collier? It's like night and day.

But from that, this draft looks to be one of the weakest ones in years. The top scorer is onl scoring 10 points per game! K-mart is the best of the bunch?

The thing about this draft is that Swift and Miles returns are to be evaluated 3 to 4 years from now. But as of now there is no impact by this rookie class.

You think that Rudy knew something when he traded that 9th pick for the 15 and another #1 pick?

Jason Collier is definetly a better basketball player than Joel Przybilla. Collier hustles more, has a better outside shot, rebounds better, a better shot-blocker and has a better offensive game. I am glad we traded Collier for Przybilla because Collier is playing much better than Przybilla. People like to talk bad about Collier if he has an off-game, but when he has a good game those same people would not say anything. Collier might end up being the surprise of the 2000 NBA draft because people think so low of him and he is a good basketball player. If Collier was playing now I can see him playing a 48 minute game at center because we really do not have any centers with Olajuwon and Cato injured. Carlos Rogers can play center but Rudy Tomjanovich usually plays him at the small forward or power foward position. If Collier was getting all those minutes I can see him getting 25pts 14rebs 4assist and 3blocks. I remember earlier this year when Collier had 10pts in 13 minutes. In my opinion Collier is one of the best frontcourt players in this rookie class.

I disagree with most. I think when Pryz starts getting minutes that he will be a good NBA center.
Collier may be a decent NBA player, but I think in the long run that Pryz will be a better player.
Also don't we owe a couple #1s in the next couple of years? I think that is the reason we made the trade, was to add a pick so we could pay for our trades.

It's a little too early to evaluate who will be the better player. Pryzbilla was only in school for less than 2 years. Collier has had 5 years of schooling. Of course Collier is going to be further along the experience curve.
