I heard Rockets assistant coach Jim Boylen on 610 this morning. He made a quick mention of Collier getting a scope today for a knee injury. This is the first I've heard of it and answers the lack of playing time questions recently. The 610 hosts didn't ask any further questions about it so I guess we'll just have to wait for the Chronicle to find out about it. Old School ------------------ I voted YES!
Yeah, I heard that too. Did he say Collier was having it scoped today? I don't think he gave a timetable. I could be wrong though. ------------------ Five to one baby, one and five...no one here gets, out alive.
Yeah Old School, thanks for scoping around for that scoop on the scope on Collier's knee ------------------
Pimp, I thought I heard him say today...maybe not. Usually the Rockets don't put those things off so I wouldn't be surprised if it did happen today. Old School ------------------ I voted YES!
You think he'll ever return to the speed demon that he was in his prime, you know, games 7 and 8? ------------------ "We end up with Francis/Mobley isolations very often. More often, I'd say, then other teams." -- jamcracker
Got this: Rockets center Jason Collier suffered a cartilage tear in his right knee during this week's road trip. He will have arthroscopic surgery tomorrow morning and will miss three to four weeks of action. Man, that sucks. Now we only have Dream left. Collier is hurt??? Quick- send out the distress call... OINK OINK OINK OINK OINK OINK OINK!!!! BRING ON THE PIG!!! ------------------
Where is Cato? It has been 4 weeks. DaDakota ------------------ If Mankind evolved from Monkeys and Apes, then why are there still Monkeys and apes?
Does this mean Los will be getting some minutes now? ------------------ I'ma need more than 6 and a half rebounds a game from the PF
My thoughts exactly...it would be a good, maybe last, time for him to prove his worth. That said, I think Rudy will opt for the smaller lineup with Kenny Thomas and more minutes for Bullard thrown in there. Old School ------------------ I voted YES!
