    Starts today up in Omaha.

    Predictions?

I say Texas makes it out of their bracket, then beats Rice in the championship series.

What's that you say? Rice isn't there? That can't be.

If that's true, my prediction is a Texas three game loss to South Carolina in the championship series. If they make it up that far, I'm making another roadie like I did two years ago!

Ouch. That's a 850 mile drive from Austin to Omaha.

I still like the Horns' chances of going all the way this year. There's no real dominant team in the bracket. This team is the deepest we've had in years. That and Drew Stubbs is a certified badass.

Yeah, Major and I made it in 2002. Well worth it. That town goes all out and the folks are as nice as can be. Not to mention a couple of nice casinos across the river.

The only team as of now that scares me is South Carolina. I think they were the hottest team going into the tournament, even though I'm not sure if they're undefeated in the tourney like the Horns are.

Harrah's in Council Bluffs is okay, except that they stop serving drinks 1AM. But I agree, that Nebraskans are just about the nicest people around. I can't even remember how many fans invited us to tailgate with them in Lincoln before the football game in '02.

South Carolina may not even make it out of their bracket. LSU has the hot hand right now.

Since Rice isn't there Texas might have a shot to win it.

    # 1 seeds don't have much luck in this tournament for some reason...I'll say Texas makes it to the championship series against LSU, and it's a tossup.

You guys couldn't imagine how hyped up Arkansas fans are for this matchup with Texas. All of the hillbillies would rather play Texas than any other team in the nation. Then again, they have had pretty good recent luck against the Horns. :)

It's a good thing that Texas is up by so much, cause the umps just blew two obvious calls.

The Horns are absolutely dominating the Hogs. It's so refreshing watching some runs actually being driven in after watching the Astros for the last week.

Wow, no one is giving my Canes any love. Forget the fact that they have the better record than LSU. Well, we will see how it plays out.

I think Miami has the third best team in the CWS behind Texas and USC - that's love.

I wish Rice was there. Texas owned them this year.
