HOLY ****! Did anyone see that? BU is trailing 3-1 against Miami (OH) in the Championship game with a minute left in the game, empty net for BU, and they score, making it 3-2. Only 25 seconds later, they score again to make it 3-3. It's on ESPN.
yeah crappy goal to lose on too. goalie had no chance. that goal that tied it up was pretty sick though.
That was a devastating loss for Miami Ohio. They had never been to a final in any sport. 3-1 lead with an empty net for about 3 minutes and they could barely get into Boston's zone. BU was the more talented team but Miami should have put them away. The OT goal was pretty flukey. The Miami goalie played much better than the Boston goalie and didn't deserve to go out like that.
i was out at a bar about 30 seconds from the game... and apparently all the Miami of Ohio fans who didn't make it into the game went to that bar. They were annoying and wouldn't let us watch the Caps game...therefore we turned into BU fans. Ridiculously amazing ending! In a championship, seriously? As soon as it ended, I said "that's a movie right there"... except then someone informed me that BU was the favorite, so that changes things. If they were an underdog, I think Disney would already have the rights by now
