It is finally back a couple of games already played. There is a couple of good games this week Georgia vs Oklahoma State and Alabama vs Virginia Tech. I am watching the Oregon Boise State game right now, I have not seen all of it but why after every touchdown the team that has scored has went for 2? Does Boise State not have a kicker?
Their kicker missed his first 2 attempts. Then when the Broncos scored their first TD, they went for 2. The kicker did kick a 45 yarder at the end of the first half. They probably went for 2 on their 2nd TD because they had 19 points and the conversion would get them to a full 3 TD lead. Oregon went for 2 because they could tie the game with 2 TD's, 2 2-point conversion, and a FG.
They didn't go for 2 because of their kicker. They went for 2 because they love douche-bag gimmick plays. Anything to get em on Sportscenter. They succeeded for 2 because Oregon is stupid and the Pac-10 sucks.
Not at all. But that was a joke game. Zabransky (worst QB of all time) throws an idiotic pick that should have cost them the game. Of course Stoops only knows how to choke so Boise got off cheap and flew straight to Disney Land for a wedding.
I think all things considered, from what is being said about his past to what happened tonight, he needs to be canned.
As a raging Ducks fan I'm ashamed of our play but more importantly Blount's actions. He's going to get suspended for the rest of the year and he ruined his chances of making millions playing in the NFL. If this were the NFL he might have gotten a stiff suspension but in the NCAA I think there's zero tolerance for a closed fist punch and then going Vernon Maxwell on the fans. Well at least Texas's own LaMichael James has a chance to get his shine on now. ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! **** **** **** ****KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK ****KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKk
I am ashamed of Boise. Step up and defend your guy, hit somebody. Saw the same thing in that Katy HS game. Hit someone geez. Blount got a clean hit off in what was basically the middle of downtown Boise and none of the players retaliate? Weak. Someones gonna come in here and give me the "high road" talk? I am waiting.
High road hardly. It's because nobody wanted to **** with Blount. He's a crazy ass mofo. Besides, it's bad enough when the Ducks own staff was trying to restrict Blount and they get into a shoving/pushing match because of him.
It's not even about the high road. Blount is probably done. His season and career is over. If a Boise player had retaliated, they'd be disciplined too. Maybe not to the same extent, but significantly disciplined none the less. That would be bad for the individual and bad for a team aiming to get into the BCS again. And if even one guy retaliates, it probably escalates the thing into a brawl which means multiple suspensions. Boise St. is very luck that their players did keep cool because if they didn't, they put their chances of going undefeated in jeopardy.
What Cannonball said. Why in the world would you retaliate and get yourself suspended? This isn't a freakin street gang fight where you gotta "keep it real". In a high-level national sports event, you never retaliate in situations like this. You just take it and laugh at the other party. What are you, some wannabe tough guy? It's better to be smart than tough, if there are going to be major repercussions.
He has to be thrown off the team immediately. I'm sure an announcement is coming today. If UO's coach doesn't take that step, their program loses all credibility. I can't think of anything Blount can do that would allow UO to re-instate him sometime this season without being a laughingstock.
I guess you chose to ignore the first half when Boise was up 18 on OU? And what's your issue with "gimmick" plays? They aren't illegal, or immoral unless you run them in the 4th quarter with a 3 TD lead. If OU didn't want to be made to look like asses, they should have stopped them. Same with Oregon last night on the 2 point conversion. Boise took advantage of Oregon's fatigue, the element of surprise, etc. It's like saying the Miami Dolphins should be embarrassed for having to resort to the Wildcat offense to beat the Patriots last year.

While he's wearing a helmet, he hits another guy with an open fist and basically runs away He should be suspended for at least a year IMO, and if I were UO he wouldn't be back.
South Carolina needs to have its season opening right revoked. They've been inovlved in some extremely boring games on national TV to open the season several times. (Losing 15-0 to Mississippi State, beating NC State 34-0, and now this 7-3 thriller).
