Yeah, Texas and Florida in a bye-week this upcoming week. Great.... Looking forward to the following games: UGA-LSU USC-CAL HOU-UTEP I know I'll probably miss the Georgia game due to the Rockets open practice, but the other two games should be pretty interesting. UTEP has home field advantage.
A football free weekend for me. I'll be at ACL. There aren't really any college games of note that I'll be clamoring for. If the same UTEP shows up this week for UH that played against UT, UH should win by a big number. UTEP's defense is terrible and their qb has a tendency to throw it to the other team a lot. They do have a decent rb, though. But he alone is not enough to control the ball long enough to keep UH from scoring at least 50.
Did you forget OU vs Miami? This a huge game for both teams. Miami would be one of the best 1-loss teams this season if they can win this game and win out. For OU, their MNC hopes are on the line. Best matchup of the game is OU's D-line vs Jacoby Harris. For the Big 12, A&M vs Arky is a big game too. Is A&M and their #1 ranking in yardage legit? Lets see what happens when they play an SEC team, though Arky isn't exactly a defensive powerhouse. Can A&M stop Mallet?
Yeah, OU @ Miami is the game I am most looking forward to this weekend. Also, Michigan at Michigan St is a decent rivalry game. Georgia and LSU are both overrated this year, but LSU is better so they should win. Also looking forward to the USC @ Cal game. Which team will show up for both schools? Last but not least, I am definitely looking forward to the UH game.
Miami really disappointed me last week. IF Bradford comes back, I'll watch that, but nonetheless, I still expect OU to win.
Not really excited about this weekend games wise. I'm headed up to TCU though for their game. Should be an ass whooping.
Rice plays Aslut, still looking for the first W of the season I wish I could be there to give Todd Graham hell (again).
Probably not. Jones winds up drafting Johnson or Mallet in the 3rd round based on that games performances.
Sucks that Robert Griffin is out.. We still have a lot of young talent on the team but it's not looking good for us considering how tough our schedule is. Hopefully the Longhorns can do some real damage this season.
So I'm flipping channels and Louisville/Pittsburgh is on. I notice that Louisville just has "The Ville" written on their jerseys. Is this something new or have I just missed it? Because that's freakin' r****ded.
So no matter how this Alabama-Kentucky game ends up, all of the big three (Florida, Texas, and Alabama) have now had a game where they looked very vulnerable.
I'll be watching A&M/ARK with my headphones tuned to the UH-UTEP game. How freaking lame is it that the #12 team in the country can't get its game on TV? If this were A&M or UT there would be a riot.
UT always has at least one game a year that winds up on PPV because nobody picks it up. If they thought there was a market for this game on PPV, they'd be charging 50 bucks and raking it in.
