Hmm... well the season's almost over... We got this week... and then next week... and then the bowl games. How nice.... Highlight Games for this week: Kansas-Texas OSU-Michigan Florida-FIU HOU-MEM TCU-WYO Cal-Stan Bama-Chat There don't seem to be any good games... Long shots for upsets this week... but the seasons almost over so... I'm just looking forward to December/January.
A noon game following a deflating loss versus a lame duck team... man, the attendance at Robertson is going to blow chunks... I'd be shocked if we pulled 18K.
McCoy can set the all-time wins record before a quasi-national audience Saturday night. If he wants the Heisman, he'll have to have a good game... but it seems Texas would rather win and stay healthy than really let McCoy go for the gaudy numbers that impress.
Guessing with a resounding victory over Kansas, UT moves back to #2 in the BCS. Alabama is playing a FCS team at the wrong time (Chattanooga).
He'll play 3 quarters if it's a blow out... if not.. he plays the whole game.. that's according to Mack's game plan.
With all due respect, that's ridiculous. He's second in the most highly regarded Heisman poll (heismanpundit.com) and is about to get a ton of press for breaking the all-time wins record by a quarterback. All of his final three games are in primetime and on national television. He's ahead of Tebow by nearly all measures. If Florida bottles up Ingram and beats Alabama convincingly, I think there's at least a 50/50 shot that McCoy ends up with the Heisman. Again, I'm not predicting he will - just that saying there's zero chance is flat out wrong and goes against every piece of evidence that's out there. Maybe you don't think he deserves it, and that's your right - but there's definitely a chance he wins. http://heismanpundit.com/2009/11/16/the-hp-heisman-watch-15/
Why is Cal v Stanford on your list? Cal Oregon & Arizona. Big game! If oregon wins they are in solid position to win the PAC10. Arizona really blew it against Cal...they should have beat them. They still have a chance but they have to run the table.
Uh because Stanford did great against USC last week... i'm thinking that momentum will carry over to this week making it a good game.
things are changing in college football??? usc and ou seem to be hurting. wonder if its just this season or will things look different for a while.
It's destiny that Ole Miss is going to lose to LSU. What a complete fluke series of plays. It should be 10-0 Ole Miss but instead LSU leads 7-3. Also: Jevon Snead is terrible. If Jordan Jefferson doesn't thrown 5 ints, LSU has this in the bag.
he is a freshman but usc does have the number one recruit in the nation at QB. they will probably be alright in that regard.
Maybe just for a season or two. Losing Gresham and Bradford completely killed OU's season, they're losing a lot of seniors after this season so they'll probably be down for another season or so. Just remember that OU was down for a couple seasons with Bomar/Thompson at QB but was right back in the Championship hunt with Bradford. While starting a true freshman has obviously hurt USC, they're having a ton of problems on defense. But USC will just re-load and they'll be right back in the hunt, especially playing in the Pac-10.
