One thing I think is interesting: one poll has Arkansas #14 and the other two have them unranked. I think Arkansas is one of the top 25 teams in the nation, but could very easily be unranked by the end of the season due to a tough conference schedule, despite having the best player in the nation. I don't think McFadden will win the Heisman award simply because his team's record will be mediocre due to a variety of factors including poor coaching, recent controversy surrounding the program, and playing in the SEC.

Completely agree with you SCF. Even though they have a cupcake non-conference schedule the SEC is brutal. I hope I am wrong and I hope they succeed but if they don't I hope Nutt is gone.
yeah one poll has Georgia Tech top 25, the other 2 don't. HAven't seen any projections putting them top 25 before this though..

Wow FSU and Miami not even in the top 25. Boy that will be a surprise when one of these teams crashes the BCS and I will say told ya so. These two programs are too good to be down for so many years. It is about time they return to the national title picture.
Oh yeah. Look above, I and SCF both posted something about the program. ESPN had a whole week devoted to the turmoil that the athletics department is currently in. I hope they do well this year but if they don't that will be fine too as long as Nutt is gone.
2 words...John Mackovic. I do believe that if UT can get through OU, @ A&M, and Nebraska at home, they should be undefeated and in the title game. Easier said than done but the schedule is pretty well laid out for them.
