You want crazy (as in undeserved)? What about Wisconson at #5? I can barely find 3-4 teams in the top 20 they should be favored over.
My Longhorns might be out of the top 25 after next week. First time since 2000 I believe. I expect an American Me prison style ass raping at the hands of OU. There will be blood.
Wisconsin would've lost last night if Michigan State hadn't started committing stupid penalties (like a late hit on the QB that led to a fresh set of downs instead of a punt).
man i hope not. but if they lose it looks like they would have to drop out. i hope mack brown has something special up his sleeve.
It's all going to work out in the end.. I don't think any team is going to go undefeated. Better to lose early than late. GO DUCKS!
Wisconsin definitely got a slurp job and there are more deserving teams than Ohio State. And no way to Hawaii being higher. Cincinnati would beat em.
After this weeks game, it's hard to believe that anything else could happen. Where the hell is the real Colt McCoy? Or, is this the real Colt McCoy? Mack Brown is a hell of a recruiter, but he made a mistake not going harder after more qb's. I know a couple changed at the last minute. But it seems like he's just looking for the next VY or Major every time and not planning for depth.
Well...Perilloux was suppose to be our guy and well you know the story. But I agree that he should've gone harder after more QBs. We did pull in Snead which was HUGE, but we're okay now w/ McCoy, Chiles, and Harris. We better get our crap together because we have a very good chance of landing Russell Shepherd next year and he could very well be the #1 rated recruit in the country.
That John Brantley guy from florida pulled the switch on us too. its ok, Chiles will be better than all of those chumps
UK has South Carolina on Thursday, LSU next week and Florida the week after. How about you let us have our glory this week eh? I don't like being ranked above two of those teams in the AP because they are going to be playing even harder because of it. Not that I think they wouldn't have played hard to begin with, but it just would have been nicer to have them go into the week knowing they were better than UK (in the polls and otherwise) so that we could surprise them. Everyone should be rooting for UK to beat South Carolina... we haven't ever beaten a Steve Spurrier team and he has been nothing but disrespectful to the players coaches and football program in the past. I can't wait to knock him down a notch.
I think Chiles, as an athlete would be a better fit in Davis' offensive scheme ala VY. Colt just can't run the zone option read efficiently which really hurts the offensive attack. What people don't realize is that a lot of the passing plays called for VY were where he was to look for a certain receiver to be open and if they weren't open he would use his legs to make a play out of something. Also a lot of the passing plays could be incorporated into a play-action style out of the zone read. Like this play While Colt has a decent ability to scramble out of the pocket and make the "backyard" football plays when the called plays breaks down, Chiles is even better at doing this.
I hope there are 4 undefeated teams at the end of the regular season. USC, LSU, South Florida, and Boston College could all theoretically run the table. How would the BCS straighten out that mess? EDIT: Ohio State or Wisconsin could do it too. How sweet would that be to have 5 undefeated teams with 4 coming from BCS conferences?
You realize he's only played QB 1 year. That was his senior year. Apparently we're recruiting the Top Player in in the country for this year. QB Terrell Pryor. 6'6 220lbs and runs a 4.3.
