I watched it, Texas melted, they have no one to control the game any more.....it was hard to watch.

    Always good when UT loses.

Texas will be much better next year with Avery Bradley and Jordan Hamilton. :)
Won't do much this year besides get past the 1st round.

Exactly! It's never a good thing when AJ Abrams is your go-to player - even at the college level...

I disagree, but it's all good. Texas just isn't very good this year. They have very few offensive threats. When Connor Atchley went to crap, that killed the team. Only AJ can spread the floor, but no once can get him the ball Dex can dominate down low, but teams can sag and he gets in foul trouble. Damion James has fallen in love with jumpshots, Mason and Dogus can't hit a jumper (or a free throw, for that matter.) Gary Johnson is blossoming into a really good player, but has a ways to go.

Next year will be much better, but with Durant and Augustin leaving early, this is what's left of those squads. Essentially, a team of role players missing some critical ingredients to NCAA tournament success.

I started watching when UT was up 10 and they just crumbled. Not enough talent this year to be good. Their players also made some poor decisions.

They look like a team that gets upset in the 1st round...as much as I hate to say that.

That assumes they make it to the first round. They are now 4-4 in an extraordinarily weak conference. No team in the B12 with a losing conference record has ever made it - not sure about 8-8. But this is firmly on the bubble right now.

Rick Barnes is a fantastic coach - but his teams are dependent on a great point guard. Without that, his offenses look horrible.

    You're right.

BU is out as of last night. They need to win the conference tourney to find a way in. I can't believe that team, after making it last year, isn't going this year with virtually the same personnel, just one year older. Scott Drew appears to be an amazing recruiter and an awful coach all at once.

I agree, but I think that Barnes will figure something out. Move #1 (and it blows me away that it hasn't happened yet) is to remove Connor Atchley from the rotation. It's clear that whatever he had last year is gone.
