No Cowherd, stick with your pre season prediction that the Rockets will miss the playoffs. We are good

There's justifiable hate for Cowherd, but I wouldn't mind if Harden play the role of Thompson to Westbrook's Curry. As in, Harden defers more to Westbrook.

Westbrook draws the defense to him, inevitably leading to a pass out to a player outside. Harden can hit those shots. Westbrook cannot.

This is ridiculous. If you escape the “two guards” mandate and look at two ball dominant perimeter scorers, you have just this decade:

    Lebron and Wade
    Durant and WB
    Curry and Klay
    Lebron and Kyrie
    Harden and CP3
    Lowry and Kawhi

As examples of duos that didn’t just make it work, they all won titles or came up just short of a title. In fact, in the modern NBA you could argue that superstars at PF and C are the least likely to correlate with title contention. You want as many blue chippers on the perimeter as possible, and every single guy I listed above save CP and Klay was a high usage guy. But I guess Cowherd’s memory only applies to Lakers or Warriors teams. Funny how that works.

You can always tell the people who watch the games. Harden is playing the same he has always played (sprinkled in a couple off ball possessions), Harden is just in a shooting slump.

When Harden gets back to those 15 pt qtrs, good night.

the reason he is wrong is because i dont see harden's struggles as having anything to do with westbrook. he is taking the same shots he always has whether westbrook is in the game or not and just missing.

yes, when tuck is playing the 5 especially i like russ with the ball. then he is in the middle of the floor surrounded by 4 shooters.
