Did anybody else pick this up? I know that we've got a some CP fans here, wondering what others think about it. It's DVD and a CD with the same concert on it.
I bought it today(In the DVD case...am now wishing I had bought it in the CD case). I only listened to the first few songs, but sounds pretty good so far. They aren't that dynamic of a band in concert, as far as I can tell. This is in no way a must have, but, if you like Coldplay, it certainly isn't bad, either.
I didn't know there was a DVD case version. When I saw the CD case sitting on one of those tables near the entrance of Best Buy, I just picked that sucker up. Even though the DVD cases are bigger, they are more durable. Jewel cases scare me cuz they can break.
I typically don't like live albums, but I may have to pick that one up since it is Coldplay. Thanks for the heads up, Oski!
Remember, it's not just a live album, it's a concert DVD. I haven't seen em live yet, but I guess this is the next best thing. Someday though, I will catch one of their shows.
Yea, I need to get a DVD player someday. In looking at the track listing, I was disappointed that they left off 2 of my all-time favorites in "The Scientist" and "Sparks", but when nearly every one of your songs has been high quality like theirs, you are going to leave out some good ones.
I usually transfer CD's(Along with their booklets) into a huge CD case. The CD jewel case would have come with a booklet that fits into the CD case... It was actually $5 cheaper in the DVD case, and that is why I bought it, despite the forthcoming dilemma. I listened to it a little more in the car last night, and I like it! I wish they had started with a different song than Politik, but I think they actually did pretty well in song selection
The scientist is on there. Sparks isn't. Now I'm gonna put the DVD on and enjoy just that particular song.
