I haven't touched Cold Fusion in 4 years or so, <CFJeff></CFJeff>. So, unless your hard up for a programmer, I'm not really sure I'm your best bet although I could get up to speed fairly quickly. How much you paying, anyway? I am a web developer so I know what's up. I think your looking for freebie services in one's off time. I need to be paid for my time. LOL I just thought I would reply to waste everyone's time...including my own. Surf
This is definitely a paying gig. It would be a one-time contract type thing for a large project we have upcomingg.
I am, but for my day job, Clutch and I own a web development company... http://www.tworoadsmedia.com/ We've been doing that for 4 years.
Damn it, why the heck no one uses jsp these days? Thing of the furture my @ss, never should of took that class.
I programmed a lot of CF about 2 years ago. I'm probably not in good enough "coding shape" to be of much use - damn engineering job has sucked away my free time to muck around on the computer.
How about a "turn off sounds" option on the main page? my subwoofer scared the bajeezus out of me. Never "should have", please. I wanted to learn COLD FUSION for work here, but they don't pay for "shiznit" training... sucks. Is this gig with a SMALL BUSINESS, or with a large company? What's the time frame? I could learn it QUICKLY, just like I did some basic ASP and PERL for CGI...
I was just looking around at your site and in checking out testimonials I found a dead link/expired domain for GVFunk.com
Hey Jeff I co-founded the Houston Cold Fusion User's Group (HCFUG) and we meet at my law-firm every month. You could pass along the info to the user group, if you like - just email houcfug@yahoogroups.com (I recommend providing a little more info about the position, though). (note: I am quite adept at CF development and have been writing in CF for many years. If I could work from home, I might be interested in the position). -- droxford
