Well I'm pretty excited to see we should be getting a big cold front moving in tomorrow. I hate going outside in the middle of freaking November and sweating my ass off! This thing sounds like it has the possibilty to bring some really crazy conditions with it.

    From weather.com:

    Tomorrow: Precip 60%
Mostly cloudy and windy with scattered strong thunderstorms developing during the afternoon. Storms may produce large hail and strong winds. High 83F. SSW winds shifting to WNW at 25 to 35 mph. Chance of rain 60%.

    Tomorrow Night:
    Precip: 40%
Light showers ending early then remaining overcast and windy late. Low 46F. Winds N at 25 to 40 mph. Chance of rain 40%. Winds could occasionally gust over 50 mph.

You mean I might have to wear a long sleeve shirt under my t-shirt? Better bring out the snow shovel. :D

But I'll take anything I can get. 85 degrees in November isn't right for anyone.

The last few days have been beautiful. Golfing was awesome yesterday.

But I would like it to cool off again, I'd like to open my windows again. And have the mosquitos disapear.

Yeah, it turned cool and rainy up here in Arkansas where I go to school and it's horrible. Going from 85 and sunny to 50 and rainy in one day just blows monkey balls. Plus the whole getting dark at 5:30 in the afternoon really sucks as well...

It's been in the 40's and 50's here in Western New York and people are complaining it's too warm for November...

Thank you. If I wanted 4 seasons I'd move north.

How in the world do you read that map?

The Farmers Almanac..the same one that predicted BOTH Katrina and Rita this year said we were in for a very wet and much colder than average winter this year, starting at the end of November. Since they were two weeks off on the hurricanes most figure it will hit us hard come mid December.

As for a hot summer...hell yes. I love it long time. Nothing better than hot, poolside sunshine and 14 hours of daylight. I miss it already.

The maps on top show areas w/ probabilities for warmer or colder, while the bottom map does the same for precip. The links just to the left let you select different upcoming periods.

So orange in the top map and green in the bottom means increased likelihood of warmer and wetter (respectively) than average.

Although I'm certainly glad to see its going to get colder, I went to the beach this past weekend.

Sitting on the beach in November reminds me why I love Houston so damn much.
