I don't know why I never saw it before, Glenn Beck is the caricature that Colbert pretends to be.

    Colbert and Stewart.

Two essential ingredients of my late night TV diet.

You know, the sad thing is that if I hadn't actually watched the original clip, I would have thought that the extreme conspiracy theory mashup bit there was taken out of context for comedic effect.

You have to see it to believe it.

No kidding. I've raised two kids on Stewart and, later, Colbert. They get the humor and they also get the excellent political points they make in the midst of being hilarious. The way they decontruct the "news" on the "mainstream media" should be a part of any kid's upbringing, in my opinion.

"I believe they were watching Lou Dobbs" made me choke. (Mexican soap opera w/ crying)

    Entire clip was great.

LOL. I don't even know what he was trying to imply ... it was hard enough believing that he actually did that segment on live TV.

Me too... expect that I just play a cd of canned laughter for an hour while watching the special olympics. Same thing, yet a little more insightful.

It's odd, but I have expected exactly that from you and your family.

Rockefeller Center is the home of 30 Rockefeller Center, aka the home of NBC, aka the home of MSNBC, aka the home of Keith Olbermann.

Oddly enough, the headquarters of Fox News is only a few blocks away. Throwing distance, really.

    Oh. My. God.

It's like they gave a TV show to those crazy people with signs yelling 'The end is near' at strangers in downtown areas.

Wow. So now you've taken to mocking those with developmental and physical disabilities in an attempt to score political points? Despicable.

    And reported.

    glen beck is an idiot.

diego rivera was commissioned to do that mural and he put lenin and all the commie stuff in there. rockefeller was actually against it and never allowed it to be shown. he was also probably not happy w/ the implication of him being at the center of the mural, in the drivers seat. if im not mistaken the mural was covered up and never even publicly displayed - a short time later it was chipped away. it didnt 'become' controversial as beck says - it was controversial from the beginning w/ even rockefeller himself being against it.

the only reason i am familiar w/ this painting and the history behind it is b/c i have seen the one that rivera did after his first one was destroyed - it is in the palacios de las bellas artes in mexico city - the most amazing collection of murals and big-ass paintings i have ever seen. i would recommend a visit to anyone who visits there.

Colbert is a comedy genius. Profane at times, but who can say he isn't funny, and really mean it?
