    texxx, you know how exceedingly rare it is for me to agree with you, but I do... it was a riot! Norton played the fool, all by herself. Colbert must have been inwardly astonished at just how rediculous the congresswoman made herself appear but, as always, he played his role of satirical genius to perfection.

    Watching it on the DVR later that night, my wife and I thought we'd die laughing! Never let it be said that Democrats can't laugh at a goofus from their own party. Colbert's replies to her nutty attacks on his "French" background were off the cuff, and nothing short of brilliant.

    I watched that too. First I though it was some joke played by Colbert, but then I was shocked to realize that it was real. How can anyone be this stupid and illogical, not to mention a congress woman? It was hilarious.
