Anybody else like coffee? I just started liking it about a couple of months ago. I like french vanilla, and hazelnut.
i love coffee. i have 3 to 4 cups here at work everyday although it's weak as hell. sometimes i have to sneak in a few extra scoops if one of the other guys hasn't already. coffee in europe is much better. i remember putting a crapload of cream in a cup over there and the stuff was still pitch black. the best kind. mmmmmm. "the blacker the coffee, the sweeter the liquid"... or something like that.
Little Boy: I thought you might like some coffee. [Sits beside a Little Girl who takes a cup] Little Boy: Sugar? Little Girl: No thanks, I take it black, like my men.
if you ever get a chance, try Goya coffee*. most international food markets have it. GREAT coffee! *actually it's an expresso, but that's beside the point
I love coffee with a passion I reserve for few other things in life. I honestly start thinking about it before I've even gotten out of bed in the morning. I love the warm smell, the rich taste, the deep color -- what I'm trying to say is, I REALLY like coffee. I don't like the flavored coffees -- they taste way too chemical-ly to me. Not to mention, that flavoring is often used to mask the taste of an inferior bean. My current favorite place to get whole bean coffee is Central Market. A few weeks ago I tried out their Organic Indonesia Fair Market bean -- no lie, this was the BEST coffee I've had in years. Fantastic stuff. I like it nice and strong with just a splash of real (not that weird non-dairy stuff) half & half. Mmmmmmmm...coffee.......
Pansy. Go get some General Mills International Coffee like those housewives on the commercials if that's how it is. Make sure to place a doily in the saucer underneath your cup.
Jeff, that's one hell of a woman you've got there! I too buy all of my coffee from CM. Working a quarter of a mile away from it doesn't help my wallet, because I'm in there all the time, and each time I go, I always spend $25 more than I was planning on spending, and the $25 always goes towards coffee, wine, and cut flowers.
Riiiiight. Sorry, but coffee tastes disgusting unless half of it is sugar anyway. That doesn't make me a 'pansy'.
I've been drinking coffee since I was too young to remember. I'd probably be 3 inches taller if it wasn't for coffee. I've come to hate coffee, to despise it, though I drink it every day. I'm addicted to it. On Sunday, I had completely run out of my regular coffee and used some decaf I keep for guests. By 11 o'clock my whole body went into revolt. Terrible headache and a whole body malaise. Ruined my whole day. I drank some real coffee after 11 and some Pepsi on top of that, but it was too late by then; my body would not be placated. I don't even drink a whole cup a day (it is a habit/tradition/ritual/superstition of mine to never drink a coffee down to the dregs), but I'm lost without it. I had quit before; well I switched to decaf because coffee is so much part of my morning routine and the only really evil part is the caffeine. But, my wife couldn't hack it so I had to go back to caffeinated. So, I live in a state of despicable dependence.
Unless your real name is Winston Wolf & you bear a striking resemblance to Harvey Keitel....yes it most certainly does.
One cup a day to get me started in the morning. Maxwell House with a splash of skim milk and 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
Oh, and I really love coffee. I too shop for most of my coffees at Central Market now. I still belong to the Gevalia Coffee club too. They have some really nice seasonal blends that they send me every so often too.....like in the Christmas season, I get 4 lbs. of Royal Vinter (yes, Vinter with e "v"). Gooooooooood stuff.............
