So, I was playing softball last night (with absolutely the worst softball pitcher ever) and when I got back out to my truck, I guess Jose Canseco had hit a foul ball that shattered the middle window on the driver's side of my 2002 Ford Explorer Sport. Anyone know a good place that I can get this fixed on the cheap?
When you get it fixed, make sure they get the Inspection and registration stickers attached to the new window. DD
I typically don't have my registration and inspection stickers on my side windows. codell, It's 1. Thanks again.
Does anyone know how much it would cost to tint this thing? I'm finding it for ~$100 at a few places, but none of them are tinted. My car would look rather funny.
Bump...does anyone know this? I can find a clear one for $105 installed, but to get one tinted like the rest of the truck is $430. Wouldn't it be much cheaper to just get the $105 window and then get the tent later?
is it factory tint (Ford calls it "privacy glass") or does it have aftermarket tent? call Apple Glass (713-680-1400) or Safelite 1-877-742-4577 (Fatty doesn't like these guys, but take it with a grain of salt)
Oh, I ended up using them, and I was satisfied afterwards. We just had a lot of problems in the beginning. They were still cheaper than Binswanger.
Is that going to be cheaper than just getting the window with it already on there? Thanks so much, man.
you can get aftermarket tint, probably for less than $100 ..but it probably wont match the factory tint
Apple Glass is the (how do the kids say) shiznit. We used them when I worked at Enterprise. They'll come to you and they have very good prices.
Since when are we [bracketing] nicknames of posters???!?!?! Jealousy will get me nowhere. Anyway, you never answered if #1 or #5 to [codell] .
