just wondering how many of you guys that play call of duty 4 on 360 are in a clan? ive gotten a couple of random offers to join a few different clans but none of them have had any real appeal to me. trying to figure out if i want to join an existing clan or start my own.
PC version Site is in my sig. We're a gaming community, play cod4 mainly at the moment. Like 10 of us. Teamspeak: 24.67.34.206:8767
CoD4 is not a tactical shooter by any means, it's definitely more action-based intensity it's way better than GRAW2
COD is ridiculously intense. Sure, there are times when you need to be tactical about how you go about things...you cant just run out into the middle of a street and not expect to get your ass handed to you, but there are bullets flying around everywhere. Its action packed.
I bought this game 3 weeks ago and have yet to open it due to my Tiger Woods online addiction. Plus I'm kind of skeert. I don't wanna get pwnt. I hope there's an easy mode for single player before I go online.
yes, you will get pwnt. it is like you, a lamb, being thrown into a lion's den. luckily, the beta prepared me.
btw i changed my tag on xbox live its now texas snipe so add me (include a message saying clutchfans so i know where ur from) and lets kill some ppl on cod4
it's a hybrid of a tactical shooter and straight up FPS. your allies' AI is pretty amazing for a video game, and you don't have to issue any commands. they automatically react to what you're doing. that said, you definitely need a stratgey in every situation. if you try to just rush in and blow everyone away, you will die very quickly. the game is all about using cover and flanking. it really is one of the most intense games i've played. i don't want to spoil anything, but i will say that there is a sniper level that will just blow you away and nearly give you a heart attack.
you will definitely get owned online at first. however, they limit the online modes available to you as a beginner, to give you a fair learning curve before playing with the big boys. it took me maybe 2 hours of line play before i became average. now i'm like 13 hours in, level 26, and routinely finish 2nd or 3rd in every game. I doubt I'll ever be great--it just amazes me how some people can head shot me in one swift motion, whereas it takes me a few seconds to accurately line up a shot.
lol headshots are random as ***** in cod... if you want to see skillful headshots, play counter-strike. call of duty is a great game though.
