COD black ops first strike worth getting?

It's not a new game, just new multiplayer maps and 1 new zombie map.

 

Get it just to have it. If you're into black ops then whats 10 bucks for 5 new maps? Personally I don't like most of the new maps and they have a HUGE problem with spawning you right in the middle of a firefight.

 

I bought the new maps none really appealing. I don't play zombies so I can't really tell you much about it. Discovery is ok I can't quite figure out which is best whether sniping or attacking. I am normally an attacker but it's not going as well. I like the China map the best a lot of camping spots but there seems to be more to do like use the zip line and other stuff. Stadium isn't bad I guess but it is smaller than my preference I play different style games like capture the flag but that is just endless camping in spots I haven't figured out team deathmatch is ok. Berlin Wall I had the greatest expectations but IMO that map sucks, lots of campings it is basically a medium size rectangle with 3 spots to get across, so there is a lot of camping either in corners of map or upstairs overlooking different paths. To me the maps are worth about 5$. It is mostly up to you if sniping is your style and you liked it more on mw2 than black ops I reccomend getting them.

 

If the zombie map is any good I'll buy it, the hours I have spent playing kino der totem is definitely worth the 60 bucks I forked over for black ops

 

All First Strike does is give you 4 new multiplayer maps and 1 new zombies map. So you don't lose your campaign saves (this doesn't effect the campaign at all) and also doesn't effect your multiplayer stats at all.

To me it's worth the money if you play multiplayer or zombies regularly or if te people you play occasionally online with have them. If you're mostly a campaign player and rarely play online or zombies, not so worth it.

Hey are there framerate issues with Blackops on xbox as there is with Blackops on ps3?

 

No.

You pay 10 dollars to get 5 new maps, but they take the other 14.

 

A fair trade-off in my opinion.

 

hahaha, They we're being sarcastic, you still have all the old maps. Only downside is that if you have buddies they can be kicked from the lobby if they don't have the new maps.
