Is it me or Patrick Ewing just seems to have this 'I dont care look' on his face.

Also what is there for? To help our big men?

What is he going to do to help Mutumbo and Yao?

teach them how to travel in the lane?

Show Yao how to not get hurt when posterized by a Michael Jordan like player?

Show Juwan how to be Juwan?

    Smoke with Mo Taylor?

I thiink when Larry Smith was an assistant, he helped Hakeem, Otis, Horry with Defense.

Yao is playing soft. Patrick Ewing was soft.

    Hmmm..

Let's just trade the entire team for a bag of chips while we can.

Hmm... Didn't Ewing push for Van Gundy becoming his new head coach? Maybe he's just returning the favor or maybe I got my superstars running teams and picking their own coaches confused.

Two games and THE SEARCH FOR THE GUILTY is in high gear: Ewing, Van Grumpy, Yao, CD, TMac, Howard, our PG's, the Easter Bunny......you name it - just look at all the threads.

Patience, Grasshopper. I've seen both games and don't like what I've seen at all, but let's give this group a little time to jell. If we don't gradually figure it out over the next 20-30 games, then I'll jump on the bandwagon with you.

The problem is I never see Ewing get emotional about anything!!!! Is he afraid to cuss Yao out or slap him in the face??? Every time he looks at Yao on the bench its like "okay Yao, sure Yao, whatever you say Yao, they rough on you Yao?" Maybe Yao really needs a coach who can cuss at him in Chinese. What is wrong with Ewing?? Maybe's time to bring back Mr Mean, Larry Smith.

Why do I always feel like I'm getting dumber when I read one of your threads?

Good! Now we are even trying to find the assistant coaches to blame. What's next? JVG's wife? This is getting ridiculous!

Maybe he needs to find a new wife. Look at Larry Brown's wife. He finally won a championship.

I don't know if Patrick Ewing is doing a great job or not. I do know that I'm not going to cast the blame for Yao's rought start to the season on Ewing.

If Yao turns the ball over a lot, that's Yao's fault most of the time.
